Framed up the upstairs bathroom and closet today. Finished removing the concrete forms from downstairs and poured an 8 inch thick slab for the chimney foundation. I took the day off to prepare for the family reunion this weekend and helped put a the silt fence down by the branch creek. It's amazingly hot; these guys have way more stamina than I can muster. Also poured footers for the new front porch.Next week should be pretty exciting - the stone mason should be back to start working on the chimney and brick veneer! It's even possible the rough-in for plumbing and electrical will begin.
