Got a note on Thursday that Murphy Springs has been certified as a Tennessee Century Farm. We'll get a few signs in the next few weeks; now got to figure out where to put them. I presume we'll qualify for the 200 years of continuous agricultural production. Unfortunately my ancestor Robert Murphy didn't quite drive the mule team fast enough to qualify as a Pioneer Century Farm; we missed that cut-off by 4 months and 24 days. Lazy bum.Wednesday the electricians made some more progress on the low voltage and permanent power; should switch of the temp pole on Monday. Thursday the roofing crew put up a very nice set of gutters. Friday it got rained out. Got a report that the windows and doors are shaping up very well.
